From the valley of fear to the mountain of praise, this week’s Biblical Alert explores the powerful message of the prophet Habakkuk. After hearing the voice of God, Habakkuk was transformed, moving from trembling uncertainty to confident worship and surrender.
Throughout Scripture, those who encountered the holiness and majesty of God were deeply impacted. Moses trembled on Sinai, Joshua fell on his face, Daniel was overwhelmed, and Peter, James, and John stood in awe at the Mount of Transfiguration. Yet each encounter points to the same truth: when we lift our eyes above our circumstances and fix them on Christ, we discover the power of God’s will, mercy, and grace.
